“Coffeeee!! Teaa!!”
“Coffeeee!! Teaa!!”
The vendor called out as he passed the coupe.
“Thuddd!”
The baby fell on its knee trying to walk across to his mother.
The mother ran to pick up the child and is busy placating him.
Ravishing young lady sat across him checking her flock of hair in the mirror of her mini clutch bag.
The chatter from the group of young boys engrossed in a card game relayed from above.
The train had halted at Varnasi for 15 mins. He hadn’t moved or uttered a word from the time he got on.
The newspaper covered Sanjay’s face; his eyes peered through his bi-focal spectacles and his hair rested neatly combed sideways.
A pencil in his hand was losing his grip. He was in a state of abstract musings.

A pencil in his hand was losing his grip. He was in a state of abstract musings.
10 years back he was all with colorful hues and elated hopes caught in optimistic fumes.
He wished to see the sunrise of today, tomorrow. Cautiously awaken, wrapped in cold wintry night, he wanted to visualize the showering of sunlight blushing mother earth with all his pride.
Eyelashes getting closer, eyelids that surrender, he dives deep, deep into a moment that is still a treasure. it was a vacation in Iceland. Flashes still reflect all senses, too strong. It is a moment, a first day MOMENT.
The moment is all in BLUE, studded with the spotless white capes....SPEECHLESS. The reflection of the mountains and the floating ice on the still waters illuminate the beauty of silence. A wonderful mysterious relation revolves round the angelic dream. A momentum of him and his sleepless nights. Time has no place to hide but move on. He wished if time could rest upon the charismatic brilliance, cherish the enigmatic chemistry between the calm white mountains embracing the chilled blue waters of peace. They are in bond through months and years of transformation between them, yet resting on each other tight and confident, ignorant of time and space. Their past is so filled and nourished, even then they embrace the present with arms wide open. their visions do not change, neither they fear to look into the future. there spirits are high, intense, all glowing in DEEP BLUE SILENCE. But time really has to go, before that, capture their ETERNAL LOVING MOMENTS.
It is almost sunrise. The sky turns from dark night to grey canopy. Birds are the first ones to welcome morning with their chirping and singing. Fifteen minutes passed. Morning is still a bit foggy with late sunrise. Sanjay looks into light, peeps into another fresh life. He knows he has just another day. A day to infuse all again in a state of REVERIE finally before he closes his eyes.

This post has been written for Tell a Tale contest posted by Divya. The idea is to complete the story after first few lines, marked in GOLDEN in the story above, written by the organizer herself. Thanks Vijay Shenoy for tagging me. This is my first attempt of writing up a short story. I have taken the pleasure of flying with words:). Hope my readers enjoy the ride.
