life, as it is.........

life is an intoxication. sometimes crunchy, kurmure, musical and sometimes a sorry feeling. cute and smiley, naughty and nagging. sometimes serious, extremely frustrating. a mixed color, true and reflecting. can be fun, can be devastating.

but don't worry. take it easy. listen to the rain slipping and sliding down the roof with it's unique tune. a coffee flavor, a hot vapor. mind games choosy and moody tied with a cocktail of bonds. treaty, touchy, mystery. muri muri zindegi with a dhun of a city.

some play sorrow, some sucks you, some very tight, some in search of  'no body' you ever knew. just listen to the song life sings, live the moments that you might or might not dream. live it as your last, experience it as if it is the first. secure your ambitions, proclaim your positions to the right path of success. laugh to intake oxygen to the fullest. love at your best. hold on as long as you live. make it till the end. love to live and live to love. who knows? cause time escapes like a handful of sand in between your closed fists. however hard you try your luck to hold it back, it slips away with its every shade, very fast, before you can ever imagine...........................

Very well written Sancheeta..The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

As I was telling you the other day, this piece truely reflects different "colours" of life. But God has given our memory the power to erase the darker shades like black, grey quickly and inscribe the greener events with a permanent marker. I wish all our memory boards being written with permanent markers of vibrant colours like green, yellow, red and blue. Let God give us the strength to make life for all of us vibrant, joyful and colourful. Lets learn to live in present and enjoy every moment than just hovering in the nostalgic past or uncertain future.

Sancheeta, this was a thrill ride with words. You expressed so much of what I'm feeling now or have felt in the past. Life is never predictable and sometimes unpretty, but it's all we have and we need to make the best of it because one day can change the course of our lives. But we need to be infused in life enough to see it. This was great!
