mother i feel you near
like the childhood nights, in your warmth
let me close my eyes.
mother i dream of you.
mother you are the serenity
of the mountain dew.
mother you are the Goddess
on earth, blessing my soul,
taking my tears on your part.
mother you are the flawless scape
drawing my life with all colorful shades.
you tinged me with strength
to be a powerful woman,
you inspire me to design my
life on every frame.

you teach me everynow
how to protect a child in every bound.
to be a good daughter, to be a good mother,
to be a good wife, is all i need to thrive.
MOTHER be with me forever
in every mark of my existence
that was born out of you,
i feel lonely, still fear in the dark,
be my light of the enlightened path,
my GODDESS on earth, you are
MY WHITE FEATHER .

A beautiful timely read having spent this afternoon with my mum, who was in her career a mathematician, and alas now exists with a severe case of dementure. But she is still my mum, and i love her. Thank you for this post.

@skargupta: do not think that you have lost her, feel her in you, she is there in every ounce of your life. she is the creator and you are her mark. forget the bodily presence. feel her energy in you. in the sky as the stars she is the brightness twinkling just for you. tell her "mom u are still there, i love you, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY."
@alpana: since you are also a mother you understand me very well. mothers are transformed into different steps at different points as her child grows up. she is ready to sacrifice every wish, her comfort, her likes, her weakness just to make her baby stronger and stronger than what she is. all her resources are transferred to her child with love.
